With this pressure switch including two cables you ensure for a constant water pressure when using a domestic waterworks, garden pumps as well as water pumps. The switch monitors the water pressure and turns the pump off as soon as the defined pressure has been reached. If the pressure decreases, the pressure switch makes sure the pump is switched on again.
Via the pump control the water pump starts and stops automatically dependent on the opening and closing of the individual points of use. If there should be a water shortage, the pump will stop, and the dry-run protection will be activated.
The pump control consists of a hydraulic and an exchangeable, electronic part:
The hydraulic part includes:
• a stop valve
• a valve adjusting to the change in flow
• a shaped and strengthened plastic body
• a membrane and spring reacting to change of pressure
• a safety valve to avoid water leakage when the membrane is damaged
The electronic part includes:
• a dense casing, made of self-extinguishing, shaped plastic
• a single, tested and checked electronic card with insulated conductor tracks
• a relays with a switching capacity of approx. 100.000 cycles during an interruption-free operation with a maximum capacity of 1.1 kW
• a varistor against voltage peaks
In case your pump has a higher performance than 1.1 kW, you should make an upstream connection with a standard power contactor or an according power relays. With a 380-V power contactor, 380/400-V three-phase pumps can as well be controlled.
The pressure switch is delivered with two cables (protective contact coupling/plug).

Risk of Electric Shock
- Never lift, transport or attach the appliance by the power cable.
- Ensure that electrical connections and cables are properly sealed and watertight to prevent short circuits.
- If the cable or the plug is damaged due to external influences, the cable must not be repaired. It has to be replaced with a new one.
- Do not exceed the maximum permissible current and voltage load of the pressure switch.
