After the temperature switch has detected the current ambient temperature, it automatically switches the connected consumer on and off again as soon as the desired temperature is reached. For example, with a connected fan heater, the thermal switch can react as soon as the room temperature falls below 20°. It activates the fan heater and this heats until the set target temperature is reached. Afterwards the device switches itself off again automatically.
This practical function can be used wherever the room temperature needs to be kept under control. This includes a greenhouse in winter, a hobby room in the basement, a turtle terrarium, an electric outdoor sauna and many other possibilities. The switch can be used in many different ways and can also be used as a frost monitor, as a replacement for defective mechanical thermostats or digital thermometers.
Note: The connected device must not exceed 2300 VA.
