In case your pump has a higher output than 1,1 you should install a standard main contactor or a corresponding power relay. With a 380V main-contactor the 380/400V three-phase-pumps are also controllable.

  Appropriate Use
  
• Use float switches only for controlling pumps and other authorised applications. It is not suitable for aggressive or explosive liquids.
  Regular Maintenance
  
• Regularly check the condition of the float switch, the cable and the connections to ensure safe operation.
  Risk of Electric Shock
  
• Never lift, transport or attach the appliance by the power cable.
  
• Ensure that electrical connections and cables are properly sealed and watertight to prevent short circuits.
  
• If the cable or the plug is damaged due to external influences, the cable must not be repaired. It has to be replaced with a new one.
  
• Do not exceed the maximum permissible current and voltage load of the float switch.
