The frequency-controlled swimming pool pump with its synchronic motor SunSun CPP-5000F and attached pre-filter with a sieve is characterized by an excellent filtration system and an extremely high economy with up to 60 % in comparison to the “old-fashioned” asynchronic motors.
We compared 3 swimming pool pumps: we have tested SunSun CPP-8000 and SunSun CPP-8000F respectively against SunSun HZS-280.
• SunSun CPP-8000: power: 65 W, delivery head: 5.7 m, flow rate: 8000 l/h (with 1.2 m x ø32 mm hose)
• SunSun CPP-8000F: power: 62 W, delivery head: 6.0 m, flow rate: 5000 l/h (with 1.2 m x ø32 mm hose)
• SunSun HZS-280: power: 294 Watts, delivery head: 7.7 m, flow rate: 6800 l (with 1.2 m x ø32 mm hose)
The maximum capacity of circulation of 3500 l/h may contribute significantly to increase the quality of the water as well as to the cleaning of swimming pools and whirlpools.
The pump characterizes by its low consumption but high capacity as well as a practically maintenance-free operation. It is a close-coupled pump with an integrated fiber catcher.
This swimming pool pump is the heart of any swimming pool system. It is mounted directly in from of the filter vessel. The pool pump draws the water from the skimmer into the pool and pushes the water through the filter media.
This CPP-series is well suited as a pump for aquariums, seawater pools, fountain ponds or protein skimmers. Or as a swimming pool pump. It is also suitable as a swimming pool pump. The pump does not have any components made of copper that get into contact with the water, to the effect that even the operation in seewater systems is possible without problems.
This SunSun CPP-series is the first SunSun pump for dry installation. Due to protection class IPX8 (unlimited period of protection against the ingress of water when completely immersed) it can also easily be used underwater.
We compared 3 swimming pool pumps: we have tested SunSun CPP-8000 and SunSun CPP-8000F respectively against SunSun HZS-280.

Read and follow the operating instructions and safety information completely before commissioning.
- Before each use, inspect the pump, power cord, and plug for damage. Do not use damaged equipment.
- Use the pump only for its intended purpose of pumping and circulating water within the specified technical limits.
- Connect the pump only to a power supply whose voltage and frequency correspond to the specifications on the rating plate.
- The power supply must be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current of no more than 30 mA.
- Do not operate the pump while persons are in the swimming pool or hazard area.
- For dry installation, install the pump securely and stably in accordance with the operating instructions and protect it from impermissible moisture.
- Keep inlet and outlet openings and connected pipes free from blockages. Observe the permissible particle size, delivery head, and other operating limits of the respective model.
- Before installation, cleaning, maintenance, or servicing, switch off the pump and completely disconnect it from the power supply.
- Never carry, lift, or pull the pump out of the water by the power cord. Protect the power cord from sharp edges, heat, crushing, and tensile stress.
- Do not pump flammable, explosive, aggressive, or other liquids not intended for the pump.
- Do not modify or alter the pump or its electrical components.
- Operate the pump out of the reach of children and supervise children to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- In the event of unusual noises, overheating, reduced performance, or other malfunctions, switch off the pump immediately, disconnect it from the power supply, and have it checked before using it again.
- When storing or taking the pump out of service, remove residual water and protect the pump from frost and damage in accordance with the operating instructions.
