The ultrasonic marten deterrent can be fixed to a wall or, using the peg included, into the ground. Pestfree Plus detects the invader with infrared in a 100° angle, then it emits the ultrasonic sound (22–36 kHz). This sound is emitted 10 m wide and 10 m deep, but is harmless to other animals and both harmless and inaudible for human beings. In addition to the ultrasound, flashing LED lights are activated, increasing the deterrent effect. The marten deterrent uses a 9 V monobloc battery (not included) or can be operated via a line adaptor (non included).
HINT
By using a line adaptor (not included), you will be able to permanently increase the intensity of the signal by up to 30 %, as Pestfree Plus will become louder and thus much more unpleasant to martens, cats, and foxes. Furthermore, the intensity of the signal will remain at the same level, as no battery can run short, and a line adaptor is more economic in the length of time.
