The ultrasonic cat deterrent can be fixed to a wall or, using the peg included, into the ground. Catfree registers the invader in an angle of 100° with a 10 m distance. With the motion detector activated, Catfree emits an ultrasonic signal (between 20 and 24 kHz) repelling the cat, but noiseless and harmless to other animals and to human beings. The LED warning lamp will show the 9 V monobloc battery (not included) running short.
HINT
By using a line adaptor (not included), you will be able to permanently increase the intensity of the signal by up to 20 %, as Catfree will become louder and thus much more unpleasant to cats. Furthermore, the intensity of the signal will remain at the same level, as no battery can run short, and a line adaptor is more economic in the length of time.
Catfree is the only cat deterrent recommended by England’s largest nature conservation organisation RSPB. The water-proof electronic system ensures safe operation throughout the year.
