This Bio Pond Filter CBF 200T combines the mechanical as well as biological purification by use of most modern UV technology.
This Filter system provides for a stable and biological balance in large ponds and improves significantly the quality of water, yet without any chemicals. It makes the water clear and pure for pond sizes of up to 8000 l without fish and up to 4000 l with fish. In order to keep a good climate, to create a magnificent vegetation and to support the well-being of your fish, it is advisable to daily run the filter system for 24 h.
The efficient filtering procedure is done by materials such as a special yellow sponge and a special blue sponge with a varying flow speed of the pond water, a Japan mat and a UV-C clarifier.
This Bio Pond Filter System makes the pond water be pressed very slowly by means of the supplied pump and an appropriate hose. First there are the filter sponges that purify the water mechanically from coarse suspended sediments and dirt particles on their surfaces. With the water being inside the filter media, there are microorganisms that gradually step by step accumulate, thus removing germs and bacteria. The Japan mat consists of raw polyester-based filaments with a large surface that likewise favour the colonization of bacteria.
The UV-C clarifier that is integrated in this One-Chamber-system supports significantly the efficiency of the pond filter. By a flow-through reactor, the pond water is treated with UV-C radiation by the means of which the tertiary and quaternary structure of algae proteins is changed. As a consequence, the algae is destroyed by the clarifier; it clumps into coarse sediments and can be removed easily by the mechanical pond filtering inside the Pond Filter from the water circulation.
The maximum water flow is 6000 l/h.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Risk of Eye and Skin Damage
- The UV-C radiation generated by the special lamps is dangerous. Direct contact with eyes or skin can cause damage. Never look into the UV-C light directly.
Risk of Electric Shock
- The power supply of the filter system (resp. the circuit of the socket used) must be equipped with a residual-current device (RCD) with a rated residual current of no more than 30 mA. The socket into which the power cable is plugged should be protected with a weatherproof cover and be at least 2 metres away from the garden pond.
- The device may not be operated in swimming pools, paddling pools of any kind or other bodies of water in which people may be present during operation. Do not use the appliance while people are in the danger zone.
- Make sure to switch off the device before carrying out any maintenance or repair work and disconnect it from the power supply by pulling out the plug.
- Before initial operation, ensure that the mains voltage matches the rated voltage on the rating plate.
- If the device is damaged, it must no longer be used.
