Pressure Filter CPF-50000 Bio Pond Filter

The CPF pressure pond filter series belongs to the latest generation of pond filters. It combines mechanical and biological cleaning with the latest UV technology. The bio pond filter CPF 50000 ensures a stable biological balance in large ponds and improves the water quality significantly, without any chemicals. It creates clear water for pond sizes up to 100,000 l without fish or up to 50,000 l with fish.

The filter system should run 24 hours a day to optimally support a healthy climate, lush vegetation, the well-being of the fish. Effective filtering is carried out using various materials such as bio-balls, special yellow and blue sponges with different flow speeds, and a UV-C clarifier. The integrated UV-C lamp ensures algae-free water.

A highlight of the filter is the additional moving-bed system, which clearly sets the pressure pond filter apart from other pressure pond filters in terms of cleaning performance.

Functionality:
The moving bed process or moving bed filter process is based on industrial wastewater treatment, ensuring effective removal of toxins such as ammonium/ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Inside the bioreactor, special filter media (beads), so-called carriers, are kept suspended and swirled by the flow. There are various carrier bodies as carriers of the bacterial film, e.g., beads or bioblocks.

The Evolution Aqua K1 Micro filter media, e.g., provide a particularly large surface. The most important criterion for the filter media used in a moving bed filter is the degradation performance. This is mainly determined by the surface used for settlement. The flow conditions in the carriers are important here. The bacteria are only supplied with sufficient nutrients if there is a good flow. The filter media are constantly in motion so that only the most resistant strains of bacteria settle on the large filter surfaces. Undesirable continuous bacterial films are avoided because the carriers always collide, so that constant renewal takes place. A side effect is that constant cleaning takes place because dirt does not stick to the filter media.

The maximum water flow is 13,000 l/h. Depending on the performance of the connected pump, water can be pumped up to a height of 3 m.

This pressure filter has an uncomplicated self-cleaning system: On the one hand, this filter system has a dirt indicator, on the other hand, a convenient “cleaning” function is provided. In addition, the filters can be pressed out very easily using a crank, without the need of opening the system. In case of heavy soiling, the accessories can also be easily removed and cleaned after opening the lid.

With a high cleaning capacity, this pond filter system is easy to install, handle, and maintain.

Assembly note:
According to the VDE directive, all electrical devices must be installed at a safety distance of at least 2 m from the water.
