Product information "Air Pump 402 Pond Aeration"
It is the appropriate ventilation in your pond or aquarium that makes thrive your fish and plants. It is the oxygen that keeps the water moving and causes beneficial bacteria to grow.
In warm temperature conditions there is a lack of oxygen in the pond. Therefore a ventilation is essential.
In wintertime the freezing is prevented by use of a ventilation system.
An additional ventilation of an aquarium is particularly essential during the treatment of an illness that in turn causes an increased oxygen consumption and the flow of drugs is spread in the water.
Even extreme sunshine makes advisable to use an aeration pump in order to prevent the water from heating up.
The now-noise
The ventilation pump is equipped with vibration absorbing rubber feet, thus preventing the pump from "moving".
The solid diaphragm pump is distinguished by durability.
