garden moments Filter Starter contains microorganisms that are important for the biological self-cleaning capacity of the pond/aquarium. A quicker decomposition of substances harmful to fish, as is ammonia and nitrite, is ensured by adding garden moments Filter Starter, and the growth of algae is reduced at the same time.
Microorganisms have some difficulties to decompose quite a lot of organic substances as died-off plants, feed residues, and excrements. Therefore, garden moments Filter Starter contains both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria especially cultivated for the decomposition of these organic substances. There are 100 million live germs contained in 100 ml of garden moments Filter Starter.

Regular adding garden moments Filter Starter (after water change, heavy rainfall) furthers the permanent colonisation of these nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. Nitrite and ammonia harmful to the fish are reduced.

Please note that, due to the larger value of contamination in aquaria (fish density, feeding, etc.), dosage in aquaria is 5 times higher than in ponds. We recommend that garden moments Filter Starter be added directly into the filter. Nevertheless, it can also be added directly into the water.

Application:
Add garden moments Filter Starter after water change, filter cleaning, or medical treatment directly into the filter.

Dosage:
Shake well before using.
New installation of aquarium or treatment of pond water in spring:
8 days long on a daily basis 5 ml to 100 litres (aquarium) or 25 ml to 1000 litres (pond)

After water change in aquarium:
one treatment with 5 ml for 100 litres of water
After heavy rainfall and water change (pond):
one treatment with 25 ml for 1000 litres of water

Maintenance/assistance:
1× a week 5 ml to 100 litres (aquarium) or 25 ml to 1000 litres (pond)
