The SunSun NEO-7000 pond pump with a capacity of 7,000 l/h and 50 W is one of the pumps with the highest efficiency on the pond market.

In addition to its use as a pond or stream pump, the SunSun pump of the NEO-Series can be employed to operate a skimmer on the suction side.
The delivery of the pond pump includes the second hose connector as well as a cap for the outlet. If you do not use the external skimmer connection, you can close it with a blind plug.

To prevent the pond filter from overflowing when used with this powerful pond pump, we recommend the use of a Y-adapter. When used as a bypass, a stream can be additionally supplied or the power can be distributed to another UVC pond clarifier or pond filter.
It is essential to match the delivery rate of the pond pump to the size of the pond filter. A pond pump with too high a flow rate will cause the pond filter to overflow. This must be avoided by all means. In addition, it is necessary to consider the circulation cycle of the pond and the retention time of the pond water in the pond filter.
The ideal circulation cycle depends on the following factors: fish population, aquatic plants, solar radiation and the desired water clarity. Of course, other components of the filter circuit might also have to be adapted to each other.
The following reference values apply:
Koi pond / Fish pond:
• 1 cycle per 3 hours
• 2 circulations in 1 hour (without plantings and with large fish population)
Garden pond / Plant pond:
A pond without fish population requires less circulation. In this case, one cycle can be taken as reference value in order to enrich the pond water with oxygen and to keep the water moving.
Swimming pond:
The circulation cycle for this type of pond strongly depends on the planting and the personal preferences.
A maximum of one circulation every 2-3 hours and a minimum of "no circulation" is given as a guideline.
Cleaning:
To ensure proper operation of the pond pump, it is necessary that you perform regular cleaning.
The handle attached to the housing makes it easy to remove the pump from the pond. The special design of the housing – no screws – allows opening it without any tools.

The socket into which the power cable is plugged should be protected with a weatherproof cover and be at least 2 metres away from the garden pond.
