The bio balls are a filter medium suitable for every external filter; applicable for several times and easy to clean.
Suitable for freshwater and seawater.

In aquatics, bio balls are applied both as a mechanical and biological filter medium. They provide a large settlement surface for bacteria and are considered to be a high-performance filling material especially with regard to large filter systems. Unlike many other filter media, moreover, bio balls guarantee practically an unlimited service life, thus making them a popular and low-cost medium particularly in pond filter systems, trickle and chamber filters.
